This has a THICK flavor to it. It's aggressively muddled. It's either the Strata or Nelson Sauvin hop that presents almost a hard candy sweetness that just hits you over the head like the Grim Reaper’s sickle. I can't be sure which, but something in the amalgamation of this liquid concoction strikes me in all the wrong ways. The cloying sweetness gives way to an abrupt artificiality that really puts me off.

This drinks somehow heavier AND sweeter than “Knights of the Dank Table.” It's got the weight of a triple IPA, the sweetness of a New England IPA, and the bitterness of a West Coast IPA but it's way WAY sweeter than I expected. This is a very strange mashup of hop flavors and I don't particularly love it. There's a ton of heat and not enough carbonation to back up the kind of heft that I'm getting from the body. Some of the bitterness I'm craving does show up at the end, but far and away, this is a very cloying beer that reminds me more of a triple IPA – and not one that was made particularly well.
