“Digitox is a scaled up, hoptimally saturated Double IPA version of our beloved Foxglove. Ramping up the New Zealand and American hop combination that is near and dear to our hearts is not a project we took lightly. True to Foxglove's straw yellow color and pillowy mouthfeel, Digitox exudes big flavors of white wine grape, ripe melon, grapefruit, and berries”

This smells fantastic. There is decent counterbalance of sweetness and bitterness on the initial taste. This certainly isn’t a beer that is necessarily trying to showcase the flavors of the hops that were used, but rather just using that hoppiness to offset what, otherwise might be a very intense sweetness. The brewery used the word “pillowy.” I’m not sure it’s quite that bouncy of a beer though. The word that comes to mind for me when zeroing in on the sweetness is “spongy.” It almost has a quicksand-esque way of sucking me in. It’s an unabashed NE IPA through and through with a refreshing and hefty body.”
