Avengers: Endgame ★★★★
This movie Is the culmination of the entire Marvel Comic Book Universe up until this point. So, needless to say, there’s a ton of stuff going on the whole time. I was immensely satisfied with this as part two of the story, finishing what was started in “Infinity War.” A very somber mood was set early and maintained throughout with spurts of the type of humor I’ve come to expect from Marvel movies. I felt like there were many drastic shifts in tone back and forth from that seriousness to humor, making me think the movie wanted me to giggle-cry the whole time. Overall this movie did everything I wanted it to do in a very engaging and moving manner. Heartstrings were tugged, fan service was dealt out heavy handedly, all of the storylines were wrapped up (and boy were there a bunch), and it never really felt long for being a three hour movie. Yes, they packed in a lot, but honestly I dug the hell out of this movie. I have minor gripes that were discussed on Fresh Hop Cinema, but overall this movie left me feeling satisfied and entertained.
